State Payments allows handling credit card transactions in a cost friendly manner. For example, instead of needing equipment, clients may run transactions directly from this website. Or they may use our magnetic readers (swipers) in conjunction with this website.
State Payments handles the transaction on behalf of the client and saves money and headaches associated with handling these items in-house. However, the client still controls and uses the system in the same manner.

Processing a Transaction:
When a client wishes to use the system, they simply walk through these steps:
- Take the card from the cardholder
- Log in to StatePayments.com
- Enter the card information or swipe the card
- Enter the original transaction amount (the fee will automatically calculate)
- Click for approval
- Print the signiture page, have the cardhold sign and return
- Print receipts for client and cardholder
